Andre Brown joins Pitmen

BROWN JOINS PITMEN

 
Hednesford Town are delighted to announce the arrival of striker Andre Brown from fellow Southern League Central Premier side Nuneaton Borough.
Brown, 25, began his career in the respected Crewe Alexandra youth set up where he came through the ranks and signed his first contract before loan spells with both Worcester City and Rushall Olympic. He then moved on to join Kidderminster Harriers before moving to AFC Telford United for a two year spell that included a loan move here at the PRG Stadium @ Keys Park where he scored 6 goals in 12 appearances for the Pitmen, before going to Stourbridge on loan. His release from AFC Telford in the summer sparked a scramble for his signature and he made the strong centre forward made the decision to join Nuneaton Borough.
Manager Keenen Meakin-Richards was very pleased to get the signing of Brown secured saying “Andre is a great signing for us and is the kind of striker any club in our division would want, he is a strong player and the number of clubs who wanted to sign him shows just how highly rated he is, we are delighted he wanted to come here and be part of what we are doing”.
Brown will be available for tomorrows friendly with Coleshill Town at the PRG Stadium @ Keys Park.
