Hednesford Town v Barwell

Friday 10/09/2021

It’s back to Pitching-In Premier Central League action at Keys Park on Saturday as Hednesford Town look to keep their unbeaten start going in the league. The Canaries have not won since the opening day of the season, losing four of their last five games which has seen them exit both the FA Cup and League Trophy.

Keenen Meakin-Richards is keen to put the Pitmen’s Emirates FA Cup disappointment in the past; “This is an ideal time to put things right,  we will not be underestimating Barwell and will need to be courageous, stand up, defend and take our chances.”

Sadly it has been confirmed that George Cater has ruptured his groin and will out of action for four months, however Reece Flanagan and Callam Mendez-Jones have returned from injury while Chay Tilt and Reece Styche are available for selction. In addition forward Niall Rooney has joined the squad on a month’s loan from Solihull Moors.
