Meet your 2022/23 Pitmen

Ahead of tomorrow’s opening game of the season it is time to meet your Pitmen for 2022/23 season in full

GOALKEEPERS

Lewis Gwilliams – Experienced goalkeeper arrived from Belper Town during pre season having helped them to promotion from Step 4.
Rhys Williams – Academy goalkeeper who’s impressed during pre season and continues to develop with the Pitmen.

DEFENDERS

Lewis Hayden – Versatile defender who arrived during the summer from Walsall Wood making the step up to the Southern league Central Premier.
Lewis Ison – Club captain who is in his second full season with the Pitmen having arrived from Coventry United.
Carter Lycett – Academy graduate and former England schoolboy international who made his breakthrough in the 2020/21 season.
Harry Manton – Young energetic full back Manton who arrived with the Pitmen having been through the Birmingham City academy system.
Harvey Portman – Arriving midway through last season from Stourbridge centre back beginning his second season with the Pitmen.
Martin Riley – Vastly experienced centre back who joined in the 2021/22 season from league rivals Tamworth.
Josh Webb – Full back beginning his second season with at the RACE Stadium following his arrival from Coleshill Town

MIDFIELDERS

Kyle Bennett – Experienced Football League player who arrived from AFC Telford United during the winter period and is the clubs vice captain.
Jed Davies – Into his third year with Hednesford. Having suffered with injuries the talented midfielder will hope to be back on the pitch sooner rather than later.
Cameron Ebbutt – Versatile winger arrived towards the end of 2022/23 season from Bromsgrove Sporting.
Joe Morley – Academy player who broke through into the first team squad last season and has had a solid pre season.
Todd Parker – Central midfielder who arrived in May 2021 from Wolves becoming a first team regular at the RACE stadium.
Numair Rashad – another talented versatile midfielder who can play up front as well having come through the Pitmen academy system.
Luke Rowe – Central midfielder who joined this summer from Redditch United having previously had spells with Coventry City and Wolves.
Romehl Seraton – Academy central midfielder who first broke into the first team 2 years ago at Corby Town in the FA Trophy and will be looking to get more action this year.
Sam Wilding – Defensive midfielder signed just a few days ago from Sunderland having previously spent time on loan at Leamington (twice) and South Shields.

ATTACKERS

Joe Cuff – Winger who signed for the Pitmen from local rivals Stafford Rangers during the summer and has also been with Whitchurch and Market Drayton.
Andre Landell – Forward into his second season as a Pitman following his 2021 move from Stourbridge.
Leroy Lita – Former Premier League striker beginning his first full campaign at the RACE Stadium after joining from Stratford towards the end of last season.
Riley O’Sullivan – Forward who joined Hednesford midway through last season after an impressive spell with Coventry United.
Chay Tilt – Joining in September 2021 from Redditch United the winger also had spells with Tamworth, QPR and Macclesfield.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Keenen Meakin-Richards – First team manager into his second full season as Gaffer with the Pitmen having led the impressive Academy transformation at the club.
Graham Deakin – Joining with KMR upon his appointment passionate number 2 with contacts throughout the game.
Jemiah Richards – Head coach in his second full season with the Pitmen having been a well respected non-league defender.
Adam Marusiak – Goalkeeping coach who arrived at the club in the summer from Bromsgrove Sporting.
Shannon Kincade – Physio who arrived in early 2022 from Worcester City.
Alife Marsden – Data analyst who arrived at the club in 2021.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Graham Jones – Chairman and joint owner who took over the club in May 2020.
Hayden Dando – Vice-Chairman and joint owner who retuned to the RACE stadium in July 2022.
Terry McMahon – Director of Football who has been with Hednesford for many years fulfilling many roles.

Good luck to our Pitmen for the 2022/23 season, tomorrow we begin as we face Redditch United at the RACE Stadium 3pm kick off.
