Hednesford Town are pleased to announce the signing of defender Stephen Morley from National League North side Kettering Town.

Morley, 35, began his career with Hinckley United before moving to Leamington in 2010 where he remained for five years before joining Corby Town in 2015 for a short stay. Left wing back Morley then moved on to join Brackley for the 2015/16 season and then signed for Tamworth In July 2016 where he remained until joining National League North AFC Telford United in the summer of 2018 for just over a season before returning to Leamington where he stayed for three years before linking up with Kettering in the summer.

Manager Danny Glover was delighted to get the signature of Morley saying

“ I’m buzzing to get Steph to join us, he’s a very good player and we had to move quickly to ensure we got him before any other clubs did, he has been playing first team football in the conference North and brings experience to our team”

Subject to the registration process Steph will be available for tomorrow’s game at home to St Ives Town (3pm kick off).
