Hednesford Town can today confirm that Lewis Ison has his contract terminated at his request.

Ison, 24, joined the club two years ago and has been club captain since last season. However, despite being given a pay rise four weeks ago, he has informed the club he no longer wishes to play for the Pitmen with immediate effect as he wishes to join a club elsewhere.
