Hednesford Town are delighted to share the following update regarding Guy Hadland.

As you will be aware Guy was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at the end of last season. An update from Guy below reads –

“So I walk into the chemo bay on Tuesday morning, get plugged in at 09:00 and they start pumping me with the dreaded. I wasn’t feeling my pucker self this time round, I started scrolling through Twitter to see what was happening in the world and Bill my haematology consultant walks over to say have you got a minute Guy for a chat, yeah no problem Bill what have you got for me. So Guy we’ve had your scan back and (then a long pause) well you’re a bit of a miracle mate he says your scan shows you are Cancer FREE. I swore and then started to cry uncontrollably, are you sure Bill? Yes mate you’ve cracked it mate. So there we have it , I will continue to have treatment but knowing I am cancer free I can start to make plans in my life again the 1st job is to put smiles back on my wife and daughters face again as I owe them so much so Dubai here we come”.
