Hednesford Town are pleased to announce that midfielder Tom Thorley has been retained by the club for the 2023/24 season.

Thorley,33, arrived back at the club in late 2022 as Danny Glover’s first signing however injuries kept him out of the squad for the back end of the season. Tom of course has huge experience in non league and counts Stafford Rangers, Worcester City, Rushall Olympic and Leek Town amongst his former clubs as well as his previous spell here at Keys Park.

Manager Danny Glover said “ Tom is a very big addition for us and a key player for the season ahead, I’ve known him for years of course having played alongside him and I know what he can bring to the team. Tom had offers from all over as he does every summer so I am over the moon that he has agreed to stay for the season ahead as his experience in the middle of the pitch is going to be very important to us and the younger players in the squad”.
