Hednesford Town are pleased to announce the signing of the experienced Michael Williams who was most recently with Gresley Rovers.

Williams, 35, started out with Highgate United with spells at Coleshill Town, Northwood, Willenhall Town, Stratford Town and Rugby Town before making the move to Stafford Rangers in 2014. He spent a year at Marston Road before joining Hinckley for a spell then Leamington. In the 2015/2016 season he joined Chasetown before a brief 5 month spell at Keys Park the following season. Michael then went on to play for Leek, Market Drayton,Rushall Olympic, Stone Old Alleynians, as well as second spells at Chasetown and Stafford Rangers before he joined Gresley.

A Montserrat international with 17 caps Williams is a versatile player comfortable at the back or in midfield and we are really excited to bring him to the club for the new campaign.
