On Tuesday night Hednesford will look to get back to winning ways in the Northern Premier League West following Saturday’s disappointing FA Cup exit at the hands of Darlaston.

Kidsgrove will be the visitors to Keys Park after a great start to the season sees them sitting at the top of the league table following wins against Hanley Town (4-1) and 1874 Northwich (6-2). They are also through to the first qualifying round of the FA Cup after beating Lye Town after a replay and Sutton Coldfield Town. The Pitmen are also unbeaten in the league after the 1-1 draw with Trafford and a 1-0 win at Newcastle Town.

The last time that Hednesford and Kidsgrove met was in in the Northern Premier League Cup back in September 2018 at Hollinwood Road. A much-changed Hednesford team went down 1-3 despite taking the lead through Charley Edge.

Kick off on Tuesday 22nd August is 7.45pm with gates and bars opening at 6pm. Admission will be £11 adults, £8 concessions (students, disabled and over 60s) and £3 under 16s. The multi-award winning matchday programme will again be on sale at the bargain price of £2.50.
