Hednesford Town are pleased to announce the signing of right back Lucas Yeomans from Southern Premier Central side Redditch United.

Yeomans, 19, began his career at Derby County in the youth academy before moving to Tamworth. He spent time on loan at Mickleover at the beginning of last season before joining ourselves here at Keys Park towards the back end of last season impressing Manager Danny Glover prior to picking up an injury. During pre season he moved to Matt Clarke’s Redditch United but has now agreed to join The Pitmen.

Manager Danny Glover said “ Good lad is lucas, he came in last season and did well until he picked up a knock which ended his time with us, i was impressed with his ability and his attitude and i’m pleased to bring him into the club”.

Lucas will be available for Saturdays trip to Mossley.
