Hednesford Town are pleased to announce the signing of James McQuilkin following his departure from AFC Telford United.

Mcquilkin, 34, is a well known figure at Keys Park having been with the club last season and is a hard working central midfielder who has been around non league football for many years with previous spells at Hereford , Torquay, Kidderminster, Stourbridge and most recently Telford as well as in the Czech Republic with Tescoma Zlin and in the football league with Walsall and Hereford United.

Manager Danny Glover said “ Macca was really good for me last season, during a tough time he was one of the lads who rolled up their sleeves and gave everything on the pitch, he’s a grafter and to be able to get him following his departure from Telford was a huge plus as he knows the club, knows what it’s about and has a real passion for the game”.

James will be available for the trip to City of Liverpool FC on Saturday.
