Tonight's Birmingham Senior Cup fixture at HOME against Romulus has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Trafford v Hednesford Town

Friday 22/12/2023

On Saturday 23rd December Hednesford will conclude their pre-Christmas schedule when they visit Trafford for an important bottom of the table Northern Premier League West Division clash. Despite securing their first home league win of the season with last Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Newcastle Town, Hednesford still find themselves in 20th place, a point behind 1874 Northwich and Trafford. However, a win coupled with Northwich dropping points at Kidsgrove would see The Pitmen move out of the bottom two.
Hednesford and Trafford played out a 1-1 draw at Keys Park on the opening day of the season, one of three draws Trafford have achieved on the road along with four defeats and two wins. At home they have again won twice against Nantwich (2-1) and Stalybridge (3-2), drawn four and lost four. The current form of both sides is very similar as they each have seven points from their last six games. Trafford’s leading scorer is Eddie Servuts with six league goals.

The game will take place at Shawe View Stadium, Flixton, Greater Manchester M41 5DL. Admission is £10 adults, £6 concessions, £2 U16s with advance tickets available via Shocal which include a free e-programme. Gates open at 1pm for a 3pm kick off.

Merry Christmas to all Pitmen fans.
