Friday 22/03/2024

With the registration deadline approaching next week, the club have been looking to recruit experienced, high calibre players to help the squad over the remaining games of the season. The latest recruit for Paul Moore is the vastly experienced Adriano Moke, joining us from Darlington FC.

The Portuguese midfielder, who started his career with Leeds United and then Nottingham Forest, then had a spell with Jerez in Spain before returning to play for York City helping them to promotion to the Football League and an FA Trophy win. He then went on to play for Tamworth, Macclesfield, Halifax, Stockport, Wrexham and Boreham Wood before moving back to York in 2016. He helped them to win the FA Trophy again in 2017, before he moved to Spennymoor in the summer of 2020. In 2022 the midfielder moved to join Darlington FC

Adriano’s registration for the Pitmen has been completed in good time and he will be available for selection tomorrow at the ‘Pack the Park’ Event for Non-League Day, against League leaders, Leek Town FC.

Welcome to Keys Park, Adriano.
