Cater agrees Hednesford move

Monday 29/06/2020

Hednesford Town FC are pleased to announce that exciting young wide man George Cater has agreed to move to the PRG Stadium@Keys Park for the 2020/21 season.

The Cannock local came through the ranks at West Bromwich Albion before joining Kidderminster Harriers in 2015, he then moved on to join Stafford Rangers, where he first signed on loan before making a permanent move there in 2016. George actually signed for Hednesford back in March 2017 but was only here a short time and moved to Chasetown  where he has impressed over the past couple of seasons, contributing 15 goals in 2019/20 before the seasons abandonment.

George has several offers from clubs at step 3, such was the impression he made over the past 2 seasons at Chasetown but the lure of playing for his hometown club and new manager Andy Morrell proved decisive and we are delighted to have George as part of the Hednesford squad for 2020/21.
