Veiga and Littler commit to Pitmen

Tuesday 30/06/2020

Hednesford Town are very pleased to announce that both club physio Eve Littler and player/goalkeeping coach Jose Veiga have agreed terms for the 2020/21 season.
Eve has been with the Pitmen for a number of years now and is one of the most respected Sports Therapist’s in non league football, new manager Andy Morrell was very keen to retain her services and we are delighted to announce she will be remaining with the club for the 2020/21 season.
Meanwhile former Cape Verde international goalkeeper Jose Veiga has also agreed to extend his stay with the Pitmen for the season ahead. Veiga, who counts Real Valladolid,  Benfica, Macclesfield and Levante, where he made over 100 appearances, amongst his former clubs has been with Hednesford since 2017, serving as both a goalkeeper and goalkeeping coach. His experience within the game is unrivalled within non league and he will be a vital part of Andy Morrell’s backroom team heading into the new season.
We look forward to seeing both Jose and Eve back at training this evening as the Pitmen begin their pre season training ahead of the new season.
