We can confirm that on Monday 26th July 2021, the Pitmen will be back in action against Aston Villa’s U23’s.

The game will be away and is to be held behind closed doors, with a limited number of staff allowed to the game.

Twitter updates and radio will unfortunately be unavailable at this moment in time for the game also, due to working within the constraints required to enable this game.

However, we will be seeking to provide a post match report and a possible link to the match via our Veo system if possible.  We shall keep you all informed on this.

We’re sure you will agree this game will provide another tough test for the Pitmen, as we grow closer to the start of the season, and will also assist in assessment of the Saturday / Monday game turnaround which faces us in the forthcoming season.  So this can be assessed on the impact of such fast turnarounds on games.
