Bromsgrove Sporting v Hednesford Town

Monday 27/09/2021

Tuesday night sees the Pitmen try to put the disappointment of Saturday’s result against Leiston behind them as they travel to Bromsgrove Sporting. Despite the result, Keenen Meakin-Richards was up beat about the performance level in Suffolk commenting; “I told the lads not to get down about the result, if we play like that we will win a lot of games, we were denied by the woodwork after dominating long spells of the game. It’s about keeping a level head, not getting too up when we win and not getting too down when we have a setback.”

The only change to the squad that travelled to Leiston will be the return of leading goal scorer Andre Landell, who is back after serving a one match suspension.

Bromsgrove have improved of late after enduring a torrid start to the season, shipping seven goals without reply in their opening two league games, five wins since including three in the league, the Rouslers are currently 13th in the table following Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat at the the hands of Royston Town.
