Club to run coach to Stamford in FA Cup

Monday 21/10/2013

Hednesford Town Football Club are delighted to announce that the Club will be running a coach to Stamford AFC in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round on Saturday 26th October, subject to demand being high enough.

Due to the number of phone calls received and the Travel Club Coach already being full a decision has been made to try and make sure as many supporters as possible travel to the game.

The coach will only run though if we can cover the costs of travel. As such at the moment we have reserved a 29 seat coach which needs to be at least 90% full in order to make the trip a viable one. We also have the option of moving up to a 49 seat coach however again we would need numbers around the 40 mark to make this viable.

The cost of travel will be £13 for Adults and £10 for Concessions. Payment for the coach can either be brought up to the Commercial Office at the Football Club between 10-4 this week or will be taken on the day itself by nominated person. The coach will leave Keys Park at 11.00am on Saturday and will depart at 5.15 from Stamford.

Anyone who is interested in travelling can book a place on the coach by contacting Scott Smith on 07518144801. All those travelling will have to be known to the Football Club though as we look to keep the good reputation of our supporters intact, however we believe that this is a great opportunity for supporters to make it to the fixture.

If numbers aren’t high enough to make the coach run then those who have provisionally booked on will be informed ASAP in order for you to make alternative arrangements. However we feel this is a great opportunity for you to make the match as the Club looks to progress into the First Round Proper for the first time since 2005.
