Keys Park Prepares To Host Silent Night Carols

Wednesday 10/12/2014

A reminder that this evening, Wednesday 10th December, we are holding a Christmas Carol event at the football club in the Chase Suite.

The event, entitled ‘Silent Night Carols’, will see the Christmas truce of 1914, when the famous match in “no man’s land” between British and German forces during that first year of war took place, being remembered at services all around the UK.

Following an invitation to try and arrange a Christmas carol event, we have decided to do just that on the above date. Doors will open at 6.30pm with a 7.00pm start at Keys Park and all are welcome to attend, with entry being free of charge.

Our club Chaplain, Rev Paul Kelly, will be on hand to help out on the evening itself, whilst we are also being supported by the Hednesford Branch of the Staffordshire Regiment and St Peter’s Primary School.

We are also pleased to say that First Team players will also be supporting the event as we look to remember what took place 100 years ago.
