Hednesford Town Football Club are pleased to announce that Keys Park has been chosen as the venue to host the 2016/17 Birmingham FA Women’s Cup Final.
In a repeat of last years Women’s Cup final – holders West Bromwich Albion Women will face Coventry United Ladies Football Club at Keys Park, home of Hednesford Town FC, on Thursday 4th May, 7:30 kick-off.
Coventry United Ladies FC progressed into the Final, beating Wolverhampton Wanderers Ladies FC 2 – 0 in a hard fought game on 19th March.
Birmingham FA Women’s Cup holders, West Bromwich Albion Women faced Gornal Ladies on 26th May, winning 3-0, which ended Gornal Ladies unbelievable County Cup run.
Last years final between both teams, was held at Leamington Football Club, which saw West Bromwich Albion Women crowned Birmingham FA Women’s Cup winners after winning 3 – 2 on penalties after a tightly contested game.
