Mendez-Jones agrees Hednesford Town stay

Thursday 11/06/2020

Hednesford Town FC are delighted to announce that defender Callam Mendez-Jones has agreed terms with the club for the 2020/21 season.
Mendez-Jones, 24, joined the Pitmen for his second spell in 2020 shortly before the season was curtailed and has an exceptional reputation as a non league defender. Beginning his career at West Bromwich Albion, Mendez-Jones spent time with Accrington Stanley on loan before joining the Pitmen for the first time in 2017/2018. He then moved on to Halesowen Town, Rushall Olympic, Redditch United and Buxton before his return to the PRG Stadium at Keys Park last season. New Hednesford Town boss, Andy Morrell, was pleased to tie up an agreement with Mendez-Jones despite considerable interest from elsewhere in the defender. We look forward to seeing Callam in a Hednesford Town shirt again during the 2020/21 season.
