Very talented attacking midfielder who rejoined the Pitmen during the 2008-2009 pre-season, having previously been a junior at the club.

Elliott’s football career began as a junior at Hednesford, but it was AFC Telford where the majority of his footballing education took place as he worked his way through the ranks at the Bucks before making his debut in the Setanta Shield against Solihull Moors, marking the game with the winning goal.

In an effort to gain extra first team experience, he was loaned out to Rushall Olympic for a short period at the start of 2008, where he made three appearances before being allowed to leave the Bucks to sign UniBond League forms with the Pitmen. After biding his time on the bench, he was eventually given his chance to shine, and after scoring at Cammell Laird, became a fixture in the side. His long-range shots became his trademark of the 2008-2009 season, finishing in the top ten scorers in the division. He agreed a new deal for the 2009-10 season and was once again one of the club’s top performers alongside free flowing Tyrone Barnett and Ross Dyer, both of which left for pastures new and higher. Elliott was expected to join them in a move back to Telford, but he returned to Keys Park for pre-season and lined up against Stafford Rangers. However he was stretchered off just half an hour into the game and was only seen again briefly in two league games before breaking down again. Despite attempts to regain fitness before the end of the season Elliott fell just short and missed out on the Pitmen’s run to the playoff final.

Elliott agreed a deal to play for the club in the forthcoming 2011-2012 season, playing parts of a number of pre-season games as he continues to increase his fitness levels. As part of his rehabilitation, he was loaned out to Evo-Stik Southern Premier League side Evesham United for a month in August 2011.
